WHAT IT'S ALL ABOUT
IT'S A TRIBUTE TO SOME OF THE GREATEST MUSIC AND TRIUMPHS IN OUR COUNTRY'S HISTORY
It was in 1944 that Bing Crosby made the Harold Arlen/Johnny Mercer tune, Accentuate the Positive, a hit in film and on radio.
It later became known as one of the songs that got Americans through World War Two. The popular songs of the day became an unofficial catalogue of music that comforted and connected Americans during some of the country’s darkest moments.
Join us when we bring together an award-winning cast for a night of the unforgettable music!

The Kennedy Center concert has a host, NBC News Correspondent Pete Williams, along with photographs and footage.
The concert is an external rental presented in coordination with the Kennedy Center Campus Rentals Office and is not produced by the Kennedy Center
